This is a Matchbox / Lesney Collector Set – 11 Vintage Cars and Trucks
A nice mixed group of vintage Matchbox and Lesney vehicles pulled from a longtime hobby store display. The set includes one packaged MG Midget plus ten loose vehicles (five Model A Ford trucks and five buses) that show honest signs of age and store handling. Perfect for a collector looking to add a variety of 1970s-era pieces or for display.
The set features:
1 Matchbox Originals #11970 No. 19 Green MG Midget TD – new in original blister packaging. The blister was opened only for photographing and has been carefully re-taped. The card shows typical fading and heavy shelf wear consistent with its age.
5 Matchbox Model A Ford Trucks (1979) – two each in blue, and one each in red, yellow and green. All are considered used from heavy display handling but remain in good overall condition with some light mars and scuffs (most noticeable on the white roofs). Minor dust in crevices; no boxes.
5 Buses – all considered used with various paint chips, scratches, and handling marks, may have been purchased used by the store:
1 red Routemaster Bus No. 5 by Lesney (England)
3 Matchbox Series No. 74 buses (green, red, and white) by Lesney (England)
1 silver coach bus Series No. 66 by Matchbox / Lesney (England)
These are authentic vintage Matchbox and Lesney pieces from the late 1970s, known for their detailed casting and collectible appeal among diecast enthusiasts.
