Refund policy
At P&MJ Vintage Sales (dba of Slipstream Industries, LLC), we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Because many of our items are vintage, collectible, or one-of-a-kind, we have the following policy:
Return Window You may return most items within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. The 14-day period begins on the date the item is delivered according to the carrier’s tracking.
Non-Returnable Items The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:
- Items listed or sold “for parts,” “repair,” “as-is,” “not working,” or “needs repair”
- Items described with any disclaimer regarding functionality, missing parts, or condition issues
- Personalized, custom, or made-to-order items (if applicable)
- Items that have been used, altered, or installed
Return Process
- Contact us via eBay messages or our Shopify contact form within 14 days of delivery to request a return.
- Provide your order number and reason for return.
- We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) if the return qualifies.
- Ship the item back in its original packaging with all original accessories and paperwork when possible.
Refund Conditions
- Refunds are issued only after we receive and inspect the returned item.
- For new/sealed items returned opened or with damaged packaging, we reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee (up to 15–20% of the item price) or refuse the return.
- Items must be returned in the same condition as received. Any damage, excessive wear, or missing parts (beyond what was disclosed) will result in a partial refund or denial of the return.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was not as described or arrived damaged due to our error. In those cases, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
Shipping Damage If your item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us immediately with photos of the packaging and item. We will file a claim with the carrier. Do not return the item until we instruct you to do so.
Refunds
- Once the returned item is inspected and approved, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
- Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
International Returns International buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs fees, and duties. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Exceptions We evaluate all returns on a case-by-case basis. If you receive an item that is significantly not as described, please contact us right away with detailed photos and description so we can resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
