A very special Lionel Postwar No. 2330 Brunswick Green Pennsylvania GG-1 Electric Locomotive, a one-year-only 1950 postwar heavyweight.

This O gauge beast measures about 14 inches long with couplers, 2.5 inches wide, and stands 4 inches high with pantographs compressed—extending to 5.5 inches when raised for that authentic overhead wire look. At a massive 6 lbs. 6 oz., it packs serious heft with dual motors, Magnetraction for grip, a whistle (vibrator horn), directional lighting from both ends, and die-cast metal trucks on a stamped steel frame. Manufactured in the United States during Lionel's postwar golden age, this GG-1 echoes the real PRR prototype's streamlined power from the 1930s onward—a design icon that powered America's rails through WWII and beyond.

Condition Details: This vintage electric is in generally good condition with normal signs of age and wear. It powers on via AC transformer (track and transformer not included), with front and rear lights working brightly. There was only very slight movement in forward/reverse during minimal testing, so it wasn't run further—lubrication and possibly other maintenance or repairs will be needed to get it hauling like new. No other functions tested. The pantographs extend and retract smoothly, and overall cosmetics are solid for a 75-year-old runner. No original box, manual, or accessories included. See photos for exact condition and what's included.
